What Do Our NTP Vehicle Service Contracts Cover?
We understand that everybody has different needs, concerns, and budgetary restrictions regarding insuring and protecting their trucks. We want to give you the peace of mind that any truck you buy from us will help you get the job done and continue to serve you for as long as possible. That’s why we offer various Equipment Protection Plans, with terms ranging from 6 months and 50,000 miles up to 48 months and 400,000 miles.
Our Platinum Plans cover many important external parts and all internally-lubricated parts. They even include coverage for part failures caused by wear-outs, which means that performance complaints and oil consumption are also covered. You can learn more about the details and the components that are covered for failure below, or contact one of our team members for further assistance.
Your Pre-Purchase Inspection
Our protection plans start working for you immediately…even before you buy! If our inspection turns up any problem, we will not issue a protection plan until the problem is corrected to meet coverage standards.
If a problem covered within the terms and the mileage of your protection plan occurs, your deductible for mechanical failure is only $150 per occurrence / $500 aftertreatment (subject to change).
Rapid Repair Guarantee Plus
You will be paid half of your truck payment (up to $750) if covered repairs are not completed within 14 days of repair authorization, and the full truck payment (up to $1,500) if not completed within 30 days of repair authorization. Some term minimums apply, ask an Arrow representative for details.
Instant Claim Payment
If you experience a problem or breakdown on the road, your claim can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Arrangements are made with a repair facility and you are informed of what immediate action to take. All paperwork and direct payments are made to the repair facility within hours of the final repair invoice being submitted to NTP.
Enhanced Progressive Damage
Coverage is extended to a non-covered component if progressive damage results from primary failure of a covered component. Additionally, coverage includes a secondary failure to a covered component that is caused by a failure to a non-covered component. Some term minimums apply, ask an Arrow representative for details.
Should coverage service become necessary, you just make one call and repairs can be made by any of the 5,000 + NTP preferred or certified repair facilities in the US or Canada.

What’s the Value of Purchasing a Vehicle Service Contract?
Semi-trucks undergo much more rigorous and strenuous driving schedules than your average vehicle. Because you’re often putting hundreds of thousands of miles on a semi-truck in a single year, you must ensure your truck’s components are protected in the event of failure due to wear-out. Under these kinds of driving conditions, it’s not uncommon for a truck’s engine and aftertreatment components to occasionally fail due to simple wear and tear. A vehicle service contract helps minimize your repair expenses by covering these parts and helping you keep your truck on the road for longer.
Whether you’re a driver or an owner-operator of a freight shipping company, keeping your trucks on the road keeps deliveries on schedule and helps you to earn more. Parts failures lead to delays and lost income. By purchasing extended semi-truck warranties or a vehicle service contract, you’re making a small investment that can have large benefits over the course of the contract’s lifetime and, ultimately, helps you keep more money in your pocket.
