ARROW TRUCK SALES ANNOUNCES 3-YEAR / 300,000 MILE WARRANTY OPTION ON USED TRUCKSJune 2007 Arrow Truck Sales, Inc., North America's leading pre-owned truck source, announces an unprecedented 3-year / 300,000 mile comprehensive engine warranty option on their pre-owned units. This new warranty program provides outstanding protection for the equipment purchaser who wants to take the worry out of buying used. Unlike other used truck warranties in the marketplace, Arrow's warranty includes full coverage (not just major components) during the entire 3 year period. Arrow's warranty option is longer than many manufacturers' standard new truck engine warranty. This new extended warranty plan is available on all 2004 and newer tractors with less than 500,000 miles. With the addition of this new coverage plan, Arrow now offers the widest coverage of extended warranties for medium and heavy duty trucks in the industry. "Arrow Truck Sales is a true innovator in the used truck industry," said Carl Heikel, Arrow's President and CEO. "Our warranty plans provide extended protection against most mechanical failures that could have a severe impact on used truck owners." "I am truly excited about these new extended plans," said Lee Wallace, Arrow's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We were the first used truck retailer to offer free 30-day warranty on our trucks and now we're the first to offer a true 3 year or 300,000 comprehensive engine warranty." Arrow carries all makes and models, maintaining a diverse inventory of more than 2,000 over-the-road tractors, vocational and specialty vehicles, and trailers. Arrow's commitment to integrity, quality, value, and selection has earned the business of fleets and owner-operators across North America. Founded in 1950, Arrow is headquartered in Kansas City, MO and has 18 retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Arrow Truck Sales, Inc. is part of the Volvo Group of companies, a publicly-held company headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. With 2006 sales of approximately $34 billion, Volvo's business areas include heavy trucks, buses, construction equipment, marine and industrial drive systems, aerospace, and financial services. In the United States, Volvo shares are listed on NASDAQ and are traded as ADRs (symbol: VOLV). |
