ARROW TRUCK SALES LAUNCHES "ARROW CERTIFIED";™ USED TRUCK PROGRAMFebruary 2006 Arrow Truck Sales, Inc., North America's leading pre-owned truck source, announced its new "Arrow Certified"™ Truck Program. The program is designed to provide truck buyers with a superior pre-owned truck, backed by a 6-month/50,000 mile limited warranty. Arrow Certified warranty is the longest standard warranty currently available through any comparably-positioned retailer in the used truck industry. "Arrow Certified trucks simply represent the premier truck investment in the marketplace," said Carl Heikel, President and CEO of Arrow Truck Sales. "This program, and others like it, will continue to position Arrow as a leader in the used truck sales industry by providing the greatest customer assurance possible." All Arrow Certified pre-owned trucks go through an extensive inspection and reconditioning process to insure their quality, value and reliability. The units selected to be certified will include a wide variety of makes and models, less than five model years old and with fewer than 550,000 miles. Lee Wallace, Arrow's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated, "Our competitors typically offer 30-day warranties on their own 'certified' used trucks. The 6-month, 50,000 mile warranty on our Arrow Certified trucks truly sets us apart from those competitors. Plus, we still include a 30-day warranty on all other qualifying 1999 and newer trucks we sell." Arrow Truck Sales, Inc. is North America's leading source of pre-owned heavy- and medium-duty trucks. Arrow carries all makes and models, maintaining a diverse inventory of nearly 2,000 over-the-road tractors, vocational and specialty vehicles, and trailers. Arrow's commitment to integrity, quality, value, and selection has earned the business of fleets and owner-operators across North America since 1950. The company also operates a Purchasing & Wholesale Division. Arrow is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and has 18 retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Arrow Truck Sales, Inc. is part of the Volvo Group of companies, a publicly-held company headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.
